The Udyog Aadhar is a unique identification number offered by the MSME .The registration process very smooth and hassle-free. The Udyog Aadhar Registration can be done online on the MSME site. It is not a mandatory process. All the micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible for Udyog Aadhar.
The MSME registration is done on the Udyam Registration Portal which is a government portal. The portal is in sync with GSTIN and Income Tax, however, GST isn’t mandatory. Only Aadhar card number is mandatory for registration. No document is required for registration as the portal itself takes data from the government database.
After registration, the Udyam portal generates an Udyam Registration Certificate. It has lifetime validity.
